Belkin FM Tunebase Induction Antenna Fix

Today I learned about how easy it is to make an induction antenna.

I recently purchased a Belkin FM Tunebase with ClearScan.  Its an iPod charger also.  When I received it, the reception was horrible and there was lots of static.  It was totally unusable.  After searching around online, I found a post that suggested an induction antenna.  It said you could make an induction antenna just by wrapping the wire around the unit.

After a few windings, the static completely went away.  Belkin should include 12 inches of electrical wire with the FM Tunebase, since the product is not usable without the wire windings.  I had no idea where they mounted the transmitter, so I wrapped the entire product with electrical wire.  It probably amplifies signals going back to ground, which then go to the radio.
